Deena Muntz began her dance journey in Illinois at age four and continued through high school. Her deep passion for dance and a fascination with human movement led her to St. Ambrose University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Master of Physical Therapy. Although she initially focused on physical therapy, her enduring love for dance drew her back to the studio. At Accent On Dance, Deena blends her extensive knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy with her dance instruction, teaching a variety of different classes over the years.  Her unique approach integrates both the art and science of movement, inspiring students to reach their full potential while appreciating the nuances of dance. In addition to her professional achievements, Deena is a wife and dedicated mother of three.  Her two daughters have “grown up AOD” and she treasures her experience as an AOD Dance Mom.   Deena brings a rich, well-rounded perspective to her teaching, helping her students grow in both skill and confidence.
