Ballet, Tap and Jazz
Developmental 6/7: (ages 10-14) Students will be participating in a 2 hour combination class of ballet, tap, and jazz. This class is a great fit for those students that want try dance for the first time or are returning after a break to explore other sports and activities. Students will receive ballet barre, center floor, and across the floor training in ballet. Tap class will focus on technique and the understanding of movement while increasing the students “vocabulary” of tap steps with focus on correct sounds and rhythm. Jazz technique and dance combinations also be an exciting part of this class. Students will perform 2 or 3 dances at the recital.
MONDAY D6/7: 6:30PM TO 8:30PM
Hip Hop: Students will be participating in a 1 hour class focusing on hip hop technique and the understanding of movement styles. The class includes across the floor activities, strength and stretching, and dance combinations to fun music. The students will also be taught transitions not multiple formations and partner work. This class is a great option for many students including: anyone new to dance that “loves dancing around their house”, the current developmental dancer that wants to explore a new style of dance, the competitive dancers that loves to perform, or the individual looking to increase their dance technique for a Pom and Dance team audition. No previous dance experience required. Hip Hop students have the opportunity to perform a hip hop dance at the recital.
SATURDAY HH: (ages 9-16) 10:30AM TO 11:30AM

Tricks, Turns, Leaps, Jumps: (ages 9-18) Students will be participating in a 1 hour class focusing on a wide variety of tricks, turns, leaps and jumps. Students will work at their own pace in this class as the teacher sets the curriculum to fit each students specific needs, giving one-on-one corrections and training. This class is a great fit for developmental dancer that wants more hours of dance, the competitive dancers that wishes to focus on improving their technique or the individual looking to increase their dance technique for a Pom & Dance or Cheer team audition.
SATURDAY LTTJ Teens: (ages 13-18) 1:30PM TO 2:30PM
Pointe: (ages 9-18) Classes are for dancers who are not yet on pointe. They will further develop and strengthen the muscles necessary to go en pointe. They stress correct alignment and correct classical ballet technique
SATURDAY Beginning Pointe: (ages 12-18) 2:30PM TO 3:30PM
